The KFD2-CR4-1.2O is suited for the connection of 2- and 3-wire transmitters. It may also be employed as a repeater for 0 mA ... 20 mA signals (current source). Both outputs provide a 0 mA ... 20 mA current corresponding to the input signal. 2-wire transmitters are connected to terminals 1 and 3. The input for the signal current is terminal 3. The minimum available voltage is 16 V at 20 mA. Current sources are connected to terminals 2 and 3. The source is not supplied with energy via terminal 1+ which is not used. The input, output and power supply are galvanically isolated from each other.
