Endress+Hauser Electromagnetic Flow Meters – Product Overview

Endress+Hauser electromagnetic flow meters (also known as magmeter flowmeters) are high-accuracy instruments designed to measure the flow rate of conductive liquids and slurries in industrial and water applications. Utilizing Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, these meters provide contactless, maintenance-free, and highly reliable flow measurement even in challenging process conditions.

🔹 How Electromagnetic Flow Meters Work

When a conductive fluid passes through a magnetic field generated by the flow meter, an electrical voltage proportional to the flow velocity is induced across electrodes mounted in the flow tube. This voltage is measured and converted into a flow rate signal.

Key Advantage: There are no moving parts, so the meter is free from wear and mechanical drag, ensuring excellent long-term stability.
