About the LU240 Series
The SITRANS Probe LU240 is a compact ultrasonic level transmitter designed for continuous level measurement of liquids, slurries and bulk materials in industrial tanks, vessels and process systems. It is built to deliver reliable and accurate level data for process monitoring, inventory control, automation and safety systems.

• Ultrasonic Pulse-Echo Measurement – Measures level by detecting the time-of-flight of ultrasonic pulses reflected from the surface of the medium.

• Wide Measurement Range – Available in variants with measurement ranges up to 12 m (40 ft).

• High Accuracy – Typical accuracy up to ±0.15 % of range or ±6 mm on the 6 m and 12 m models.
