Baumer head‑mounted temperature transmitters are compact industrial transmitters designed to be integrated directly with an RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensor, typically Pt100, and mounted at the sensor head or thermowell. These transmitters convert the sensor’s resistance signal into a standardized 4–20 mA analog output (with optional HART communication on advanced models), enabling accurate, reliable temperature measurement and transmission to PLCs, DCS, data loggers or controllers.
Baumer’s head‑mounted transmitters are built for field‑ready usage — compact in DIN form B housings, suitable for installation on industrial RTD probes or part of hygienic sensors (like CombiTemp series). They support 2‑, 3‑ or 4‑wire RTD configurations, offer high accuracy and fast response, and are engineered to perform in harsh, humid or vibration‑prone environments.
